Eurobank EFG winner of National CSR Award of Serbian Chamber of Commerce
Eurobank EFG has won the National CSR Award, granted traditionally by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. Among 78 companies competing for the Award, Eurobank EFG has been rewarded in the category of large companies, as the company which showed the highest level of responsibility in its business operations in the last two years.
The prestigious award of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce has been granted to Eurobank for the implementation of prominent and strategically designed CSR projects within “We invest in European values” program, as well as for corporate responsibility towards its clients and employees.
Through the comprehensive CSR program titled “We invest in European values”, Eurobank EFG has so far invested more than EUR3.6 million in projects in the area of education, healthcare, environmental protection, inclusive society development and culture. In addition to the program continuation, which includes constant and committed investing in the most sensitive segments of the society, Eurobank also initiated two new SCR projects at the national level last year. Together with the “Ana and Vlade Divac” Foundation, it launched the “Big Heart” MasterCard affinity card, for raising funds for the reconstruction of children’s playgrounds in kindergartens across Serbia. In cooperation with the Inclusive Society Development Center, the Bank initiated the “Moving Inclusive Museum”, an exhibition of student works adjusted to persons with disabilities. In addition, last year Eurobank granted more than 50 one-time Scholarships in the overall amount of EUR50,000 to the best students of state universities. So far, 1,350 best graduates of Serbia have been the laureates of this prestigious Scholarship.
