Belgrade, May 31, 2012 - Eurobank EFG has signed the Agreement on Participation in the Serbia Energy Efficiency Project with the Ministry of Environment, Mining and Spatial Planning of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian Environmental Protection Fund. Eurobank will thus become one of the banks in Serbia which will introduce subsidised retail loans for financing home adaptation and central heating equipment, aimed at reducing energy consumption and costs.
Eurobank EFG’s subsidised loans for energy efficiency will be used for financing adaptation works and purchase of equipment for improving energy efficiency of family houses and apartments. For this purpose, Eurobank EFG approves RSD loans with no down payment and payroll account in the value of RSD24,000 to RSD1,500,000. A special advantage is that the first 200 loans will be free of a disbursement fee. A loan application can be submitted in any of 100 Eurobank EFG branches across Serbia, with a pro-forma invoice for equipment purchase and/or installation costs attached.
