“One Child – One Book” will make all “Big Heart” children happy
8 August 2013.
Belgrade, August 08, 2013 - Eurobank, “Ana and Vlade Divac“ Foundation and publishing company Laguna will visit this summer all 18 kindergartens across Serbia where playgrounds have been reconstructed owing to the ”Big Heart” in the last three years and will grant 250 books for children’s libraries to each kindergarten, within the “One Child – One Book” campaign.
“Supported by our clients and the “Ana and Vlade Divac” Foundation, we have made happy more than 8,000 children in 16 kindergartens across Serbia within the “Big Heart” project in the last three years. During the project implementation, we have noticed that kindergartens in Serbia do not have children’s libraries. Owing to the cooperation with publishing company Laguna, we have contributed to the resolution of this issue by donating children’s books to all the kindergartens where the playgrounds have been reconstructed. We believe that it is the best way for children to acquire a habit of reading books,” noted Nataša Krstić, Corporate Communications Director in Eurobank.
The “Big Heart” MasterCard card is used as any standard credit card, and its ultimate purpose is focused on improving conditions for safer growing up of children in Serbia. Retail clients who opt for this unique affinity card bear no additional costs, and by using it contribute to the important cause of reconstructing playgrounds and introducing libraries in pre-school institutions. Upon each transaction, including purchases and cash withdrawals, Eurobank allocates part of its revenues to the “Ana and Vlade Divac” Foundation for reconstructing children’s kindergartens and obtaining books for libraries.
