Belgrade, October 22, 2013. – More than 8,000 children from 19 kindergartens across Serbia have been given a more beautiful place for growing up during the Big Heart project. In addition, children were also delighted with books from Laguna publishing company’s book fund.
“For four years now, it is both our pleasure and a privilege to give away part of the Big Heart to the youngest part of our population. Numerous reconstructed playgrounds and thousands of smiling kids with new books in their hands are the measure of our success. I would like to use this opportunity to invite other companies to make their contribution and thus make a joint step forward towards a more beautiful and a more humane society, said Nataša Strugarević, a member of the Executive Board of Eurobank.
“It is a great pleasure to present you today the vast scope of the Big Heart project, hoping that our cooperation on this project would last for years, added Vlade Divac on behalf of Foundation Ana and Vlade Divac.
“While celebrating its 15th business anniversary, Laguna publishing company joined the Big Heart and supported this project with more than 4,500 books for kids across Serbia, Laguna Managing Director Dejan Papić explained.
The card with a big heart – “Big Heart” MasterCard card – is used as any standard credit card, but its ultimate purpose is to improve the conditions for more carefree growing up of children in Serbia. Retail clients who opt for this unique credit card bear no additional costs, while contributing to the important humanitarian cause of supporting the reconstruction of playgrounds and introduction of libraries in pre-school institutions.
