14 December 2015.
Belgrade, December 14, 2015 – For the eighth time in a row, Eurobank is the general sponsor of the “Night of Books”, a regional event traditionally organised by publishing company “Laguna” and bookstore chain “Delfi”.
Wishing to upgrade the general culture of reading, Eurobank has joined this festival of written word, visited by around 40 thousand people in seven hours every year.
“As the company which continuously contributes to the community where it operates, Eurobank has been supporting the Night of Books for several years now. We believe that we can make the society where we live and work much better by promoting cultural values and healthy lifestyles. Just like within cooperation with Manchester United we brought to Belgrade last week legendary goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, who sent a message on the significance of teamwork and fair play, now through the support of the “Night of Books”, we wish to remind of the importance of cherishing culture and language,” says Željka Ćirić Jakovljević, Corporate Communications Manager in Eurobank.
The “Night of Books” will be held on December 18 from 5pm until midnight, when Delfi bookstores and Laguna readers clubs will open their doors to book fans. The event will be organised in Belgrade and 25 other cities in Serbia and the region.
