Management Changes in Eurobank Serbia

Eurobank Group has the pleasure to announce the appointment of Mrs. Slavica Pavlovic as Deputy President of the Executive Board of its Serbian subsidiary bank “Eurobank Serbia”.
Mrs. Slavica Pavlovic has been a member of the Executive Board and the Head of Finance and Control Division of Eurobank Serbia, since 2006.
Mrs. Pavlovic will assume the management of the Bank, as the current President of the Executive Board Mr. Philippos Karamanolis will be moving to Romania to take over the position of Chief Executive Officer of “Bancpost” and Country CEO for the Eurobank Group in Romania.
The appointments are subject to regulatory approvals from the relevant authorities.
Mr. Stavros Ioannou, Deputy CEO of the Eurobank Group, welcomed Mrs. Pavlovic’ appointment and expressed his appreciation for the contribution of Mr. Karamanolis to Eurobank Serbia: “Mrs. Slavica Pavlovic has extensive knowledge of our Group and had a key role in establishing Eurobank Serbia as one of the leading banks in the country. At the same time we want to express our appreciation for the significant contribution made by Mr. Philippos Karamanolis during his leadership in Eurobank Serbia. We wish Mrs. Pavlovic and Mr. Karamanolis every success in their new duties”.
Before joining Eurobank Serbia in 2006 as a Chief Financial Officer, Mrs. Pavlovic was a manager for the audit of banks and other financial institutions at PWC, and prior to that, at Ernst & Young in Serbia whilst she started her career at “Investbank” in Belgrade.
She holds a Bachelor's degree from the School of Economics, University of Belgrade, Dept. of Finance, Banking and Insurance.
Ms. Pavlovic is also a member of the Foreign Investors Council Tax Committee and a member of the Management Board of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences’ Foundation for Studies of Sciences and Arts.
