Children who attend „Palčica“ kindergarten in Novi Sad were pleasantly surprised by new educational and interactive equipment at their playground, provided through the project carried out by Eurobank and Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation.

„Palčica“ kindergarten is a part of "Radosno detinjstvo" preschool institution attended by 650 children. This year the kindergarten became a part of a preschool educational program called „Godina uzleta“. This program was designed with a goal to induce children imagination and creativity in the best possible way, through exploration, discovery, and extensive engagement. Among new equipment set on the playground, there is and Indian village, houses for play and learning, and many other interesting and educational facilities for children to learn and prepare for future challenges.

„The children who attend „Palčica“ kindergarten will, as of today, have yet another reason to spend their time at the playground. I am glad that we provided the new equipment for the children to enjoy playing and socializing at the new, educational facilities“, Slavica Pavlović, president of Eurobank Executive Board said.
Ana Koeshall, the director of Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation spoke about the long and highly successful cooperation with Eurobank.

„For eight years our goal has been to provide the children thoughout Serbia the best conditions for growing up and education through happy and careless play. I believe that we have achieved that goal“, Koeshall said.
Mirjana Đurđev, director of „Radosno detinjstvo“ preschool institution thanked the representatives of the foundation and the Bank for the donation, explaining that „with the realization of the donation a more thoughtful, educational and interactive children accommodation was provided, in line with the new Program basis for preschool education. Inspirational design of the playground will induce further development of self-confidence, openness, curiosity, endurance, resilience and creativity among the children.”

Since 2008, when the Big Heart projectwas rolled out, Eurobank and Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation have renovated almost 50 playgrounds in kindergartens, as well as a great number of facilities in schools and health institutions where children spend time. The campaign has provided tens of thousands of children across Serbia with a high-quality environment for playing, learning and enjoying a happier childhood.
